OnePlus says to give Open without sharing the Fold like all other companies are doing. As per their speech, OnePlus Open was coming, the news had been done by itself.
After a while, we got OnePlus Open first look in a YouTube video. Where its top officials attend the interview and share about related issues. This look doesn’t reveal the camera panel.

The OnePlus Open first look shared the back and front design except the camera panel. OnePlus sent the box in red colour of OnePlus Open which sealed the camera panel.
Pete Lau, the top design section official for OnePlus Open says that they used high quality hinge to develop performance and reduce size and weight. In this video, it looks like a better option for a developed hinge.
Compare to Oppo Find N2 foldable, the OnePlus Open uses less than 31 components from. Which successfully helps reduction of weight and the more effective material design to enhance the strength of this device.
According to his speech, OnePlus focuses on Oneplus Open slim and light design to give convenience to the users. OnePlus doesn’t forget to add an alert slider here and he mentioned this early.
In an answer to a question about launching any upcoming flip phone, he informs that OnePlus has no plan for a flip device now. Instead, sharing the differences of flip phone users may be tough for different marketing etc.
OnePlus Open will be basically a global phone from Pete Lau’s speech. As a new entrance in the folding phone market they have planned to work on camera section and user performance on UI side.
