iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will feature 60Hz refresh rate: Revegnus

We are known to the iPhone 15 series after the September 7 launch event. It comes next to the iPhone 16 series. The rumor mill already started to analyze their source and data to overcome exact features Apple are willingly equipped here.

iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, we have seen just 60Hz refresh rate and as per source of Revegnus, Apple is going to stay on the same position to feature 60Hz refresh rate again. Although this 60Hz is beneficial for long-time charging durability, the present market demands at least a 90Hz refresh rate.

iPhone 16 and 16 Plus to feature 60Hz refresh rate

In a post on X (formerly tweet on Twitter), Revegnus shares the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will have a LTPS technology based 60Hz refresh rate capable display panel. LTPS stands for Low Temperature Poly-Silicon that is usually used on OLED panels to enhance higher resolution and larger panels.

Basically the iPhone 16 non-Pro models are willingly equipping 60Hz refresh rate and the other two iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 120Hz refresh rate as usual. There will be a dynamic island also in the position of notch, Apple introduced on iPhone 14 series.

By this post the tipster shares the display size of all four iPhone 16 models. The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will feature a 6.12 inch and 6.69 inch display panel respectively. That previously said, both use LTPS technology.

Now the other iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max have 6.27 inch and 6.86 inch display panels respectively. Instead of LTPS, the Pro-models have LTPO technology.

Furthermore, iPhone 16 series camera and more specs are already in hype. The chipset of iPhone 16 Pro series is as usual Bionic A18 Pro.
