The Vivo X90 series is anticipated to make its way to the Indian market very soon. While an official launch date is yet to be confirmed by the Chinese smartphone brand, a reliable tipster has suggested that the vanilla Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro models are set to launch in India on April 26.
Initially launched in China in November 2022, the Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro, and Vivo X90 Pro+ were later introduced in Malaysia in February 2023, with a starting price tag of MYR 3,699 (roughly Rs. 71,600) and MYR 4,999 (roughly Rs. 96,800) respectively for the 12GB RAM+ 256GB storage variant.
Vivo X90 series
The global variants of the Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro come equipped with Android 13 based Funtouch OS 13 and a 6.78-inch Full HD+ (1,260x 2,800 pixels) AMOLED screen featuring a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. They are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC and include Vivo’s custom V2 chip for image processing.
In terms of optics, both models come with triple rear cameras. The Vivo X90’s camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX866 primary sensor, a 12-megapixel portrait camera, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. In contrast, the 90 Pro features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 1-inch primary sensor, a 50-megapixel IMX758 sensor, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. Both models feature a 32-megapixel selfie sensor.
Vivo X90 is powered by a 4,810mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. Meanwhile, the Pro model features a 4,870mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
It is noteworthy that the Vivo X90 series boasts of Zeiss-branded triple rear cameras, enhancing the picture quality and overall camera experience.
