Nova 12 series was at the top of the discussion while it was launching. This series has Nova 12, Nova 12 Lite and also Nova 12 Ultra and Pro models. Let’s begin with the base Nova 12.
Nova 12 released in China
Huawei Nova 12 released with a 6.7 inch 120Hz OLED panel display of 1,084 × 2,412 pixel resolution. An in-display fingerprint sensor embedded and a selfie camera also in the front screen. This punch hole notch carries a 60MP ultra-wide sensor snapper.
There is a triple camera setup inside the rear panel of Nova 12 released in China. Which ensures a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide and a macro sensor which has not been mentioned yet. Huawei doesn’t mention the chip, as per source it is Kirin 830 4G SoC. Which previously mentioned.
Nova 12 has two storage configurations, 256GB and 512GB. It runs on HarmonyOS 4.0 on the top. Additionally, it highlights a 4,600mAh capacity battery and a 100W fast charging system, NFC and might be a cooling system put inside.
Now there remains Nova 12 Lite, which is almost similar to its base variant in display and other specifications. Nova 12 Lite is comparatively thicker, lighter and lower battery capacity based device from its base. The battery is 4,500mAh on this Lite with a 66W charger here.
Huawei cuts an extra camera sensor in Lite. It gets a 50MP primary and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor only. Although it runs on HarmonyOS 4, it is powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset.
Nova 12 series price
Both Nova 12 and Nova 12 Lite come in Black, Blue and Obsidian colour variants. This series is already on pre-orders though Chinese VMall and Open sales will start from January 5 of next year. You can make your purchase.
The Nova 12 starting price for 256GB is 2,999 Yuan ($419) while the other 512GB variant costs 3,399 Yuan ($475). Now the Nova 12 Lite also comes in similar storage configurations. The 256GB costs 2,499 Yuan ($349) and 512GB gets the price tag 2,799 Yuan ($391).
