Huawei is the tech giant in China basically working on several technology devices. It was previous news and rumors not to bring any new Kirin SoC for this year. But it doesn’t stay true.
We have seen a few days ago Huawei brought the Mate 60 series with a Kirin 9000S chipset. Which was unknown while it was participating in the launch event. Now again another Kirin SoC is coming soon.
New Kirin 830 chip on Nova 12 series
Huawei Nova series is going to bring their new series soon. As the successor of the Nova 11 series the Nova 12 series will be there at the end of this year. Before getting a more detailed view the speculations here with Kirin 8 series chip, likely Kirin 830.
Huawei Nova 12 series will bring two models, Nova 12 and Nova 12 Pro. But rumor suggests that the only base variant will feature the Kirin 830 chip. There is no news about the Pro model.
Expected specifications highlighted a 60MP camera in the front display, a 120Hz refresh rate, 4,800mAh battery and a 88W wired charging support. Also, wireless charging will not pass 50W, because of the Chinese government restrictions.
Sometimes the Kirin 830 is compared to the Snapdragon 778G and Snapdragon 870 chipset. Although there is shocking doubt how they will make this 5G chip while the US restriction is ongoing.
