After a long time of leaks and rumors we finally the Xiaomi 14 series released officially. This series is the first phones packs Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. Which has launched a day before the event is done.
Xiaomi 14 series released with two models, the base Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. Both models are tuned by Leica on the camera panel. This series features HyperOS for the first time.
Xiaomi 14 specifications
Xiaomi 14 comes with a 6.36 inch LTPO OLED panel display, 1200 × 2670 pixel resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits brightness (iPhone is now behind the Xiaomi). Its size is identical to the predecessor Xiaomi 13, and is 152.8 × 71.5 × 8.2 mm. Screen gets Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
That was previously mentioned here, Xiaomi 14 is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, packs up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The battery has 4,610mAh capacity and 90W wired charging and 50W wireless supports.
Xiaomi 14 is designed by a triple camera setup in the rear module. It is entitled a 50 megapixel primary camera, 32 megapixel telephoto lens and both have OIS support, lastly the ultra-wide sensor has 50 megapixel resolution with EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) support. In addition, the front screen bears a 32 megapixel selfie snapper.
Xiaomi 14 Pro specifications
The Xiaomi 14 Pro is the larger phone, with a big 6.73-inch screen that has a high resolution of 1440 × 3200 px. It’s got a super smooth 120 Hz refresh rate, just like the Xiaomi 13 Pro. But here’s the cool part – this screen can get really bright, up to 3,000 nits! And to protect it, Xiaomi has covered it with their special Longjing Glass. Oh, and they’ve made the bezels around the display even thinner too, more than iPhone latest models.
Xiaomi 14 Pro features the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which is developed using TSMC’s advanced 4 nm process. It is equipped with either 12 GB or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and offers storage options of 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device is powered by a 4,880 mAh battery and supports fast charging capabilities of up to 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The device organized a total of three cameras in the rear panel, led by a 50 megapixel primary lens of “Light Hunter 900” sensor from Leica, f/1.42 to f/4.0 variable aperture and there is a telephoto lens covering 75mm focal length and f/2.0 aperture which can takes photos at 40 megapixel resolution in normal and 50 megapixel portrait mode. The last snapper is a 50 megapixel ultra-wide sensor. Again, there is a 32 megapixel selfie camera like as the vanilla.
This Xiaomi 14 Pro has an titanium frame models along with other glass and leather variants, which first introduced by Apple via iPhone 15 Pro models globally. The front display is protected by using Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Xiaomi 14 series released price
Xiaomi 14 comes in black, white, green and pink colour variants. It is available for pre-order at different prices depending on the storage capacity. The 8+256GB model is priced at CNY 3,999 (45,800 INR), the 12/256GB model is priced at CNY 4,299 ( 49,000 INR), the 16+512GB model is priced at CNY 4,599 (52,300 INR), and the last 16GB+1TB model is priced at CNY 4,999 (57,200 INR).
Xiaomi 14 Pro is available for pre-order in China and comes in black, white, or rock green color options. It is offered in three storage variants, 12+256GB at CNY 4,999 (57,00 INR), 16+512GB at CNY.
