The vivo V29 series, which follows the vivo V27 series, has already introduced four devices. The latest addition to this series, the flagship model, has now been officially launched in India. It has pleasantly surprised us with the inclusion of a Portrait camera, a feature that was absent in its predecessors.
The vivo V29 Pro is a great choice. It is the fourth model in the series and comes with an improved chip and a better display quality, which is borrowed from the vivo V29 base model.

As previously stated, the vivo V29 Pro is furnished with a 12MP portrait sensor that provides a 2x zoom capability, in addition to a triple camera arrangement. It comprises a 50MP primary camera of Sony IMX 766 sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) functionality, along with an 8MP ultrawide sensor. Furthermore, integrated within the display panel, the front screen showcases a punch hole notch that accommodates a 50MP selfie camera.
The vivo V29 Pro is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, offering a maximum of 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The device operates on the Android 13 operating system, overlaid with ColorOS 13. Notably, it is powered by a 4,600mAh capacity battery, which can be charged using an 80W wired charger.
The display panel is configured with a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED panel, showcasing Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Furthermore, it incorporates HDR10+ support and achieves a peak brightness of 1300 nits, ensuring optimal visibility even in bright daylight conditions. Moreover, an in-display fingerprint scanner is conveniently positioned on this screen. The weight of the device amounts to 186g, while its thickness measures 7.43 mm.

vivo V29 Pro comes in two colour variants, Himalayan Blue and Space Black along with two storage configurations. The 8+256GB unit costs 39,999 INR ($480) and the 12+256G unit costs 42,999 INR ($516).
