OnePlus continues its ongoing process. December of last year, it launched OnePlus 11 with two colour variants green and black. Now OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock is a new colour variant.
According to the Chinese OnePlus website, manufacturing the phone with this new material is challenging because production efficiency is only 25% compared to the regular glass-back version, and the production yield is only 50%. The Jupiter Rock back cover is 100% hand-selected, and the material undergoes nine complex processes before it can be used on the phone.
OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock Limited Edition specifications
OnePlus calls the rear panel “cool and skin-friendly” and says that the unique aluminum hydroxide of the Jupiter Rock “brings smooth pleasure from the fingertips to the heart.” The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, has 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB of storage. The Hasselblad mobile camera system includes a 50MP primary camera, a 48MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. There is also a 16MP front-facing camera.
The 6.7-inch AMOLED display features a 1440 x 3216 QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone has a 5000mAh battery with support for up to 100W fast charging, which can charge the battery from 0% to 50% in 10 minutes and from 0% to 100% in 25 minutes. OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock pricing
Pre-orders for the OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock edition are available now through the OnePlus website, with the initial release scheduled for April 3rd. The Jupiter Rock edition will only be available in China and priced at CNY4889 (approximately $710 or 655 Euros). Most of the specs are the same as the regular OnePlus 11, which is available in Black and Green.
