vivo Y03 brings to Indonesia with Helio G85

vivo has officially unveiled its latest budget-friendly offering, the Vivo Y03, in the Indonesian market. Succeeding the Vivo Y02 launched in November last year.

The vivo Y03 aims to provide an affordable yet capable smartphone experience for consumers on a tight budget.

The vivo Y03 boasts a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, ensuring a crisp and fluid visual experience. The waterdrop notch houses a 5MP selfie camera, allowing users to capture decent self-portraits.

On the rear, the Y03 features a dual-camera setup consisting of a 13MP primary lens and a QVGA lens, accompanied by an LED flash for improved low-light photography.

Powering the device is the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, an octa-core chipset launched in 2020 that promises decent performance for everyday tasks. The SoC is paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. Additionally, vivo’s Extended RAM feature allows users to virtually extend the RAM by 4GB for smoother multitasking.

The Vivo Y03 is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W charging via a USB-C port, ensuring long-lasting battery life. The device runs on Android 14-based FunTouch OS 14, providing a user-friendly software experience.

Other notable features include dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, adding to the device’s durability.

The Vivo Y03 is priced at IDR 1,299,000 ($83) for the 4/64GB variant and IDR 1,499,000 ($97) for the 4/128GB variant, available in Green and Black color options.

Vivo is expected to expand the availability of the Y03 to other Asian markets soon, catering to budget-conscious consumers seeking a reliable and affordable smartphone experience.
