In the mean time of November, there happened a lot things. Elon Musk officially takes over Twitter and fired about a thousand employees. Alphonzo “Phonz” Terrell and DeVaris Brown including them. Now they are building Spill, as an alternative of Twitter.
Taking over Twitter was not a simple matter for the employees of Twitter, even including their CEO. Elon Musk fired more than thousands of employees. He chooses his position as a CEO of Twitter.
Terrell was a global head of Social and Editorial and Brown was a product manager. Whose met with themselves in an event inside Twitter. It was pleasure for them by offering to be friends. If I mentioned them, both are black will make discrimination. But time has gone and they build up Spill.
Their story outside of Twitter might be happier when they are going to launch Spill. They officially announced to launch Spill. They said it as “a real-time conversational platform that puts culture first.” Now they expected launching time will be the first month of next year.
Spill will be a blockchain technology. It covers how a post goes viral to help them in future. They will also activate monetization features. While, according to TechCrunch, Terrell refused Spill as a Web3 company.
Inside Spill, it is ruling by a small team. These team members is less than 10 people and three advisors. Twitter former Design Chief Dantley Davis is also the advisor of Spill.
Spill started beta testing program. Where more than 20,000 people signed up. Now we will wait for the upcoming launching of Spill.
Alongside, as the biggest competitor of Twitter, Mastodon is performing in the biggest position. From November, Mastodon gets more than 0.7 million users. Possibly Spill will take over this place as a Twitter alternative.
On the other side Elon Musk arranges a poll on a tweet about his chief post in Twitter. 57 percent voted for stepping down as a Head of Twitter. Now Musk finding another CEO.
