Moto X40 teases to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

Recently, Qualcomm launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC on the event took place at Hawaii. After that, many phone manufacturers companies are highly working to release new phones with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.

On the way of featuring Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Motorola is working to release Moto X40. It visited Antutu benchmark platform and it score 1312901. It is the similar score of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Motorola also teases to give Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

Moto X40 specification

From the teaser images that is clear Moto X40 will have a curved edge display. The identifying black colour image pointed out on the teaser. Though its colours doesn’t revealed to us. Alongside images, there is also news that this device will run on Android 13 with MYUI 5.0 version.

We are expecting some key specs of Moto X40 to get. It might feature a 6.67 inch OLED panel display of Full HD resolution, 165 Hz refresh rate. This 10 bit display, with refresh rate, that we doesn’t see any other phone except gaming phones.

Moto X40 is powered by Snapdragon 8 Geb 2 that we already mentioned, LPDDR5x RAM and might be UFS 4.0 based storage. Its weight is 196g and 8.5mm slim. Expected battery charging speed is 68W, while no information about its wireless charging.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

From the source, Moto X40 will give a triple rear camera setup. There the primary camera is 50MP with OIS support, also another 50MP secondary camera and 12MP. We expect that the secondary camera might be an Ultrawide and the 12MP will be a telephoto lens. There is a 60MP selfie shooter.

We have no clear information exactly when Motorola will launch Moto X40. But we are expecting to get it soon. Hope to get in next month.
