Vivo is rumored to launch both the Vivo V29 5G and Vivo V29 Pro 5G in India later this month, following the recent debut of the Vivo V29e smartphone.

According to a report by 91mobiles, Vivo is gearing up to introduce the V29 5G and V29 Pro 5G smartphones in India by the end of this month.

These devices will come in a unique ‘Majestic Red’ color inspired by India and may feature India-specific enhancements, though details are not yet specified.

The Vivo V29 5G boasts a large 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a high 120Hz refresh rate, supporting 1.07 billion colors and the DCI-P3 color gamut.

It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, coupled with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone features a 4,600mAh battery with rapid 80W charging and a VC Bionic Cooling System.

It runs on FunTouch OS 13 based on Android 13.The Vivo V29 Pro is expected to be a rebranded version of the China-exclusive Vivo S17 Pro.

It may come equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. Recent Geekbench listings suggest the global model will indeed feature the Dimensity 8200.

The phone could also have a 4,600mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.In terms of the display, the Vivo V29 Pro is likely to feature a 6.78-inch centered punch-hole curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.

It is expected to have a triple-camera setup on the back, including a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP 2x telephoto shooter. Additionally, it may feature a 50MP front camera for selfies and video calls, catering to selfie and vlogging enthusiasts.
