Redmi 12C for India scheduled on March 30

Last December, Xiaomi announced Redmi 12C for China. Now it is announced for India and says to take place the event on March 30. Xiaomi officially confirmed by their Indian Redmi twitter account. Last month, it spotted on Geekbench.

Redmi 12C for India will be an entry budget device, that has said to give better performance. Users who will operate only calls, simple photo shooting, a short time video streaming, be a better choice.

Redmi 12C is covered by a 6.71 inch LCD panel display with HD+ resolution, a waterdrop notch in the front of 5MP resolution.

Rear panel of Redmi 12C has a dual shape camera module with a flashlight. It designs a 50MP primary camera and a depth sensor. Rear panel also bearing a fingerprint sensor for security.

It is ready to equip MediaTek Helio G85 chip, which is normal in entry budget devices. The storage packs up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will run with MIUI 13, that means Android 12 will be available from launch. Its Chinese variant also got Android 12 OS.

For extra storage it has a slot for microSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, availability of NFC depends on market.

Xiaomi doesn’t give any hints about pricing of Redmi 12C for India. But it will be an entry budget device. In the mean time, many phone manufacturers are working hard at entry budget devices in the Indian market. So it is obviously every company cuts off price as much as possible to lead the market.

By the way, Redmi Note 12 4G will also launch on March 30.
