Nothing Phone is becoming a different type of phone company or not, is not the exact question to be answered. It is doing something different to familiarize a new design. On the way, Nothing is about to introduce their next device, Nothing Phone (2).
Nothing Phone (2) teaser finally confirmed that it will be the successor of Nothing Phone (1). Which was launched last year and brought a significant amount of interest.

Nothing Phone (2) teaser appears on its own website, that has revealed the rear panel. Where it looks there is a transparent light design like last year. Which was a growing new idea to keep the phone in an interesting level. While it says, the phone manufacturers are out of ideas about phone design.
In this rear panel, there is a round shape design, inside a red LED, which seems as a video recording indicator. In Nothing Phone (1), we also identified this light. So, it is not new as compared with the predecessor.
By the way, previously it was confirmed from a post of Qualcomm employee that Nothing Phone (2) will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. Which is a 4nm technology based chip to ensure better performance.
Nothing confirmed that this phone will arrive in the summer of this year. That means the company is becoming ready to open their new phone.
