Honor Magic Vs 2 launched in China, features Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1

Honor has introduced a new foldable device in its Magic V series, following last year’s Magic Vs. The latest addition, called Magic Vs 2, features a lighter and thinner design thanks to an upgraded magnesium alloy frame and a newly-developed Luban titanium hinge.

It is weighing just 229 grams, it is even lighter than the Magic V2 (231 grams) and is comparable to the latest high-end bar phones. It becomes more futuristic than the predecessors.

The primary display of Honor Magic Vs 2 is 7.9 inches and the secondary display is 6.43 inches in both LTPO OLED technology panel, a 1-120Hz dynamic refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 9.8:9. Both screens support HDR 10+ and have front-facing cameras with 16MP, which are placed inside small holes on the screen.

Magic Vs 2 runs on Android 13 OS with MagicOS 7.2 customization. It is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, packs up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. It keeps an enhanced battery capacity of 5,000mAh and a 66W wired charging support.

The rear panel of Honor Magic Vs 2 comes with triple panel setup, a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide and a 20MP telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom.

Honor Magic Vs 2 launched with Velvet Black, Coral Purple and Glacier Blue colour variants. It has just two storage configurations, 12+256GB costs 6,999 CNY ($957) and 16+512GB costs 7,6999 CNY ($1,053).

Pre-orders already started via Honor official website and said to start open sales from October 17.
